Strawberry Fields Forever.....

I took my first trip to the strawberry fields in Carlsbad, California. I didn't know this is where they got the strawberries for my breakfast. I had a great time with Mommy and Daddy and look forward to going back there tomorrow....oh wait Mommy says I can't tomorrow...how about the day after that?.......

Special time with Aunt Dee

My Great Aunt Dee make a trip down to San Diego just to see me. She brought me a lot of nice treats and we had a lot of fun doing things. We went to the zoo and I showed her the monkeys and mingos (flamingos) and we also went to ride the merry-go-round at seaport village. It's fun seeing my Aunt Dee and I hope to see her again soon.

Turning 2

I just had the best birthday ever. Nobody told me that turning 2 meant having 3 different parties and going to Disneyland 2 times. What an adventure it's been. On the Sunday night before my birthday I had a small party at my Grammy's house. We had pizza, which is one of my favorite meals, and Mommy made me a special Nemo cake. She said it was made from scratch, but it tasted like cake to me.

Early the next morning we got in the car and drove to California Adventure. It was a nice day and we made it there so early we actually were chosen to officially open the park. Mommy, Daddy and I held a red rope and led hundreds of people into the park as the official opener uppers of California Adventure. It was such an honor. So because it was my birthday I got to choose what ever I wanted to do. So of course the first thing had to be Playhouse Disney. All my old friends from home came over to give me a personal show on a big stage. Mickey and Minnie were there as well as The Little Einsteins, Winnie The Pooh, and my secret boyfriend Handy Manny.

After that we went to see my buddy Crush. We chatted for a bit but the dark room started getting on my nerves. So I asked Daddy to take me outside. Once I felt better Mommy and Daddy took me to ride the Monster's Inc. ride. It was nice to see my friends Kitty and Boo there, she and I are buddies!

We did a lot of things but the best part was getting my own chocolate cupcake and having my own mini party in Bug's Life. It was FUN. After a quick run through the water fountain and it was time to head home.

I hope to go back soon. I like California Adventure more than Disneyland right now. We went to Disneyland a few weeks earlier but it was hot and most of the rides were still too scary for me. Except for Dumbo. I love to go flying!!!!!!

The Winter Months...

It's hard to believe they call this winter when it's like a hundred degrees outside. I actually went swimming at my Gammies house today.

But this has been a fun winter none the less. This isn't my first winter, but possibly one that I'll remember when I'm old...like really old....like 30. I got some cool winter boots from Mommy and I broke them in by playing in the leaves outside on a rare rainy day. (Check out the pic) I had a blast outside. My hooded jacket was like a special Wonder Woman Suit (Don't know who that is but Daddy says she's cool) When I had my hood on I felt like nobody could see me. So it made for some great Peek-A-Boo sessions. My parents had no clue where I was. They kept saying "Where's Presley"...I had them fooled...amatures...

I also took a trip up to this place called Julian. Nice place, but not much for a young girl like myself to do. Except for the snow of course. Gammy came with me and Daddy for this trip. I built my first snowman and even tried snow sledding for the first time. But Daddy kept making us crash. I think he needs to work on his sledding skills a bit. But my snowman rocked (see pic). I called him Chi-Chi after the dog I got for Christmas. He's my new friend, so I said why not...I like the name.

Santa was really good to me this year too. He got me a new Pink Kitchen Set with a stove, oven and refrigerator. I love it. I even make Daddy lunch almost every day now. I got to see Nana and my Auntie Lori too. They brought me a giant car full of toys and clothes that Santa accidentally left up in Orange County. He must have had a heavy load and had to drop it off early. But my Nana knew to bring it to me so I would be happy. The clothes my Auntie Lori gave me were very nice and Mommy said I would put Surrey Cruise to shame with my fashion sense. I don't know who that is but she must dress nice too.

Over all the end of my 2008 was great. I spent New Years eve with my friends In Orange County. We played games and ate chocolate cake. And who doesn't like chocolate cake??? huh?

I'm looking forward to this new year. Daddy and Mommy are taking me to Disneyland for my birthday. I've been there before so I'm a veteran. I'll have to show Daddy my favorite rides. 2008 was good, but 2009 will be even better for the Aguilar clan. And I'll do my best to keep you all posted. I love you all..........Presley

Here Today, Gone to Maui...

What can I say? I've been a busy girl. So many places to see and people to visit. A girl like me just doesn't have time to update my Blog all the time.

But this time I have so much to share I just had to log on again.

I just returned from my first trip to Maui, Hawaii. And I think I discovered my new home. We stayed at the Wailea Beach Resort and had the coolest room with a view of the ocean and my favorite pool.

There was soooo much to see and do that I didn't feel it was necessary to take a nap for the entire trip. Instead I just crashed out with Mommy and Daddy at 6:30 (Hawaiian time) each night

I got to visit a real tropical plantation and I went snorkling at the Molokini Crater. I had some shaved ice with my Mommy in Old Town Lahaina and ate Hawaiian Spare Ribs with Daddy at Kimo's on the water. (See videos)

The plane trip was long but I was able to sleep through most of it. It was a little cramped though. Maybe we'll get Daddy his own seat next time. Aloha.

I went to Sea World with mommy and daddy today, and then when we came home, I helped daddy water the lawn. I had soooo much fun getting wet and playing in the water. I'm walking really fast these days...can't stop me now!

Yesterday, I got to see my nana for her 60th birthday party. Mommy said it was a surprise...I love surprises!! We ate lunch and lots of cake and then we got to go swimming in nana's big pool. Everyone made such a big fuss over me and nana bought me some presents too. (I think the party was really for me, shhh....don't tell!) Then later, we got to see aunt Cary and eat at taco surf...I tried to eat handfuls of salsa it was so yummy! What a fun day we had. When's the next birthday party??

I had been holding out to show my talents until Father's Day. I knew all along that I had the skills to walk but I wanted Daddy to feel special, so I waited until the big day. (Well actually the day before). I started off with 7 steps from Mommy to Daddy in the morning, but I didn't want to give away too much. So I waited again until we went to dinner with Tata. Then I did another 7 steps for him. When we got home Mommy and Daddy decided I should be showing my skills to the world so we turned on the video camera. I like the camera. Some day I'll be a star, so I'm used to having it around. Anyway this video is my 3rd attempt at walking. But still the first day I even tried. Daddy said he was proud of me and Mommy was really happy too. Look out world, here I come!!

Patriotic Presley!

WOW! What a weekend I had...Saturday we all went to the Tierrasanta Patriot's Day Parade. I still don't know what a Patriot is, but I had sooo much fun waving at all the people in the parade. Mommy said I was the best cheerleader because I clapped and yelled "yeaaahhh!" for all of the people and kids parading down the street...maybe next year I can be in the parade too. Then I got to meet our next Mayor Steve Frances since daddy is a councilman now...and I danced with grammy while some really cool old guys played loud music. But my favorite part of the day was the fireworks show and the loud "BOOM" I can't wait for the 4th of July!!

RUBBIN' ELBOWS WITH A HOTTIE!!

Mommy and Daddy took me to the Home Expo at the Del Mar Fairgrounds this weekend so Daddy could look at stuff and Mommy and I could meet Andrew Dan Jumbo, Star of "While You Were Out" and "Take Home Carpenter" on TLC. We think he's dreamy...

So he took some pictures with us and signed a picture of himself for my wall. He's a bit old for me...but it's fun to look.

MY FIRST HAIRCUT

Well I guess Mommy and Daddy were tired of me looking like a ragamuffin, so they decided to take me in to get a trim. Which is good in my "eyes" because it was getting hard to see. Plus it's sooo HOT I needed the ventilation.

We hopped over to a place in La Jolla that had a toy store attached to it. There were some cool chairs to sit on that looked like cars and airplanes, but my Mommy was a bit nervous. SO I sat on her lap to keep her calm and happy.

Nothing major. A quick trim of my bangs and a snip on the tips and it was all over. I would do it again but I'm hoping to have hair as pretty as Mommy's some day. So I'll keep working on it.

For my birthday Mommy and Daddy took me for a photo shoot so I could strut my stuff for the cameras. I don't know what stuff that is, but it sounds good. Mommy said they were cheezy but I didn't get to eat any cheese. I did some fancy formal shots and some tropical beach shots too. Take a look.

I made it to my first birthday party and what a great turnout. Lots of Mommy's and Daddy's friends were there and a lot of my family and cousins also. I even made some new friends from around the block. I had a yummy cupcake made especially for me. But I like the frosting the best. I can't wait to do this again next year.

For a 1 year old I am sure a big traveler. I spent my Birthday with my Nana, Auntie Lori, Great Grandpa, Grammy and of course my Mommy and Daddy. Above are some pictures of my big day both in Long Beach and San Diego. Breakfast at Nana's was fun. I got lotz of gifts and a new dolly that I can feed myself. And I'm really good at it. Grandpa and I spent some quality time together. After a long drive back to San Diego I got to see Daddy. I think he missed me because he gave me a hundred kisses. I went over to Grammy's house for some swimming and some ham. The day was finished with some yummy bug cupcakes. Messy...but yummy!

Drinking With Daddy

My Daddy is always keeping a good eye on me. So when I noticed he wasn't looking I went on a little adventure. First I put something in my mouth that wasn't mine. Then I started up the stairs to see how far I could get. I must say I'm pretty proud of myself. I made it up 1 full flight. Well at least I made it up 4 steps before my Daddy found me. So we crossed the border to Surrey BC by car, and the guy at the border didn't even stamp my passport!! What's up with that, eehh? By the way, in case you didn't know...everyone in Canada says eehh, I'm pretty good at making that sound too! Mommy took me to my first bridal shower for cousin Brandi and her soon to be husband Keven. I've never seen so many women all in one room. I got to meet lots of new people, and Tia Tita came too. I really loved all the beautiful butterflies on the napkins and the food was so yummy...fruit and whipped cream, delicious!! I wanted to eat all of the tissue and wrapping paper from Brandi's gifts, but mommy says it's not polite. I can't wait to go to the next one! I'm still trying to figure out why no one actually took a shower. The best part of the whole trip was staying with Cousins Gary and Sabrina, they LOVE me!! I was spoiled rotten all weekend long and Gary loves to kiss my feet ;-) I really love all of my Canadian family, does this mean I'm Canadian now, eehh?

Something Fishy, and it isn't my Diaper

After the Space Needle Daddy was hungry (what's new) so we went to the Public Fish Market on Pike's Street for lunch. We walked around a bit to see what sounded good and we ended up in this crappy restaurant that was famous for being in a movie called "Sleepless in Seattle". I've never heard of it but I hear it's a chick flick. Anyway Daddy's food was cold and Mommy's sandwich was gross and overpriced. We did some shopping and I got a really cute hat for my cold head (see picture) I also got to see some guy throw a giant fish across the room. Mommy always said to never play with my food but I don't think these guys have Mommies.

Restless in Seattle

I took a really big trip with Mommy and Daddy this past weekend. We flew to Seattle Washington on the way to Canada for my cousin Brandi's wedding shower. I've never taken a shower so it will be fun to see somebody else take one. But during our stop in Seattle we got to do some really fun things because we had some time to kill. When we first got there we went up in the space needle. It's supposed to be this really tall building but I wasn't scared. We must have been out of money because Daddy said he paid an Arm and a Leg for us to get to the top. I hope he'll be able to walk and hug me still. It was really cold up there but Mommy kept me bundled up. The wind on my face made me laugh though. We went outside for some pictures but stayed inside most of the time. It was a nice view. But I didn't see Dr. McDreamy ;-(

Spending The Weekend With Nana

This past weekend I was able to spend the weekend with my Nana at her house in Long Beach. I was a bit sick and grumpy but Nana did her best to make sure I got better. She bought me some new toys and books and we sat on the floor and read them together. She even had a beautiful Christmas tree that was the perfect size for me. The one at my house is way too big for me to eat. My Nana spoils me way too much and I enjoy spending time with her.

Today is the day I've been waiting for my entire life. Mommy and Daddy took me to see the Big Man, The Head Honcho, Mr. Kringle himself........Santa!!!! Mommy and Daddy know him so they got me a private meeting. And boy was I nervous. I kept looking at him like a crazy person and I'm embarrassed to say that I kept pulling on his furry sleeves. Hey, but at least I didn't pee on him (thank you Huggies). I didn't have anything to say to him but I think it was a good photo opportunity. What do you think? Check out this video my Daddy took.

Spending time with Gramma

Gramma and I spent last Sunday for her birthday watching the Charger game, watching daddy work in the yard and cooking a yummy turkey dinner. The Chargers always win when I wear my cheerleading outfit and cheer really loudly!! I especially loved gramma's mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes. Then we all sang the happy birthday song and I helped her blow out the candles. Wow, birthdays are lots of fun...when do I get one??

Today, I become a world traveler! I got my passport today. Mommy and Daddy had to say a bunch of words, swearing that I belonged to them, yeah right...like daddy could deny I'm his ;-) I must say, my photo turned out pretty cute. Hello friends and family and welcome to my blog called "Presley's Page". My mom and dad thought it would be a good idea to start this page to allow me to easily share photos, video and stories about yours truly. Bookmark the URL for this page and check in once in a while and see what I am up to. As I start this blog, I am 8 months and 10 days old. I am "Crawling" already in my own special way and not a day goes by without lots of giggles and laughing at mommy and daddy.

I love going to Sea World and to the petting zoo with my daddy. I have my two bottom teeth, top two coming in, and I have more on the way!

I am learning how to feed myself with banana stars and I love my fruits and veggies...but what I really like to eat is the food right off mommy and daddy's plates instead. Maybe some day they will let me have more than just a taste!
